Daarbij deed vooral de koffietak van het bedrijf het goed (+14,4%), dankzij\u00a0de overname van het Zweedse Smiling Faces en groei in bijna alle markten waar het merk aanwezig is.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ondanks die hogere omzet kon Miko toch niet pronken met een hogere winst, want ook de kosten namen flink toe. De bedrijfswinst ging er dan wel met 4,4% op vooruit naar 8,1 miljoen euro, volledig te danken aan een sterke stijging bij de koffietak die een daling bij de kunststofdivisie teniet deed, maar netto was er sprake van een winstdaling van 3,3% naar 4,8 miljoen euro.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Een deel van die lagere winst is te verklaren door de herwaardering van de aandelenopties voor het personeel. \u201cDoor onze fors gestegen aandelenkoers moeten we volgens de IFRS-boekhoudregels een hogere provisie aanleggen voor die aandelenopties en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tijd.be\/ondernemen\/voeding-drank\/Miko-gaat-over-de-kaap-van-100-miljoen-euro-omzet\/9933992\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dat weegt op de nettowinst<\/a>\u201d, zegt CEO Frans Van Tilborg aan De Tijd.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>200 miljoen euro geen garantie<\/h2>\n<p>In 2016 haalde Miko een omzet van 191 miljoen euro en met de cijfers van de eerste helft van 2017 lijkt de kaap van 200 miljoen euro voor dit jaar binnen handbereik, al wil Van Tilborg die prognose nog niet uitspreken.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDat we over de 100 miljoen gingen in de eerste jaarhelft is geen garantie dat we over heel het jaar meer dan 200 miljoen omzet boeken. De eerste jaarhelft is traditioneel sterker dan de tweede. We zijn tevreden over de eerste jaarhelft en behouden ons investeringsbudget van 15,8 miljoen euro.
