Omnichannel vertrekt vanuit het standpunt dat de klant moet kunnen kopen waar hij of zij dat wil, of dat nu online, mobiel, via andere media of in de winkel is.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De grootste uitdaging voor retailers vandaag is dan ook om <strong>zichtbaar te zijn op al die kanalen<\/strong> en er een coherent verhaal te brengen. Alles moet met elkaar verbonden zijn. Voor een echte omnichannelretailer is immers noch het internet noch zijn winkelpunt de basis, maar vertrekt alles puur vanuit zijn klantenbestand: met behulp van een centrale product- en marketingdatabase kan hij de klant zo via de best passende kanalen bereiken.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDe consument ori\u00ebnteert online \u2013 en online is lang niet meer enkel via pc, maar evengoed via de smartphone of tablet. Ziet hij bijvoorbeeld via Twitter dat er een actie is, gaat hij naar de winkel, checkt er vervolgens met Foursquare in en wordt daar dan ontvangen met onder meer <strong>beeldschermen die terugkoppelen naar wat hij op het internet had gezien<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Zo shopt de consument vandaag, weet Bruno Hanck\u00e9, en dat is ook precies waar de <strong>marketingworkshop \u2018Pre-, to- &amp; in-store\u2026\u2019<\/strong> op de retaildetail Night van 22 november retailers mee zal leren omgaan.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Protectionisme op de winkelvloer<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cSuccesvolle retailers in de komende tien jaar zullen zij zijn die die echt pragmatisch, kritisch en <strong>doordacht omgaan met alle nieuwe technologische mogelijkheden<\/strong>,\u201d aldus nog Hanck\u00e9. Alle puzzelstukjes moeten duidelijk zijn, zodat de beleving zowel online als offline doorgetrokken kan worden. Op die manier wordt het ook eenvoudig om de \u2018return on investment\u2019 te berekenen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Drie dingen moet de retailer dan ook zeker juist hebben om succesvol te zijn in zijn omnichannelstrategie. <strong>Ten eerste is er het promotionele niveau<\/strong>: coherentie is zowel op lange termijn als bij kortetermijnacties ontzettend belangrijk.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ten tweede is er de informatietaak van de winkel. Tegenwoordig ziet men vaak het fenomeen van \u2018showrooming\u2019 optreden: de consument komt naar de winkel om honderduit te vragen, maar <strong>stapt uiteindelijk buiten zonder te kopen<\/strong>. Om dat te voorkomen is het cruciaal dat medewerkers over dezelfde informatie beschikken als de klant.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEr heerst dikwijls nog een zeker protectionisme tegenover online verkoop in de winkels, maar <strong>eigenlijk zou winkelpersoneel moeten uitgerust zijn met tablets<\/strong>.\u201d Als klanten er dan met hun prijsvergelijkingsapplicatie op wijzen dat het elders goedkoper is, kan men in de winkel meteen reageren dat bijvoorbeeld installatie daar niet incluis is en bij hen wel. Zo kan de verkoop toch nog in de winkel worden gesloten.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ten derde en laatste moet ook de <strong>beleving op alle kanalen doorgetrokken worden<\/strong>. Het inspirerende element van de retail mag daarbij geenszins uit het oog worden verloren. Zo ziet Hanck\u00e9 dat er online vaak heel veel beleving is: behalve uitgebreide productinformatie vindt men er filmpjes van defil\u00e9s, persoonlijke suggesties en soms zelfs virtuele paskamers.\u201cIn de winkel vind je daarentegen al te vaak enkel het product en de medewerkers. Je moet nochtans zorgen dat de winkel de beleving van online in het kwadraat biedt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>\u201cElke winkelformule is uniek\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>Elke winkelformule is uniek en het ligt voor iedereen anders, maar Hanck\u00e9 denkt dat fysieke winkels zullen evolueren naar plaatsen waar mensen naartoe gaan voor promoties, <strong>instant aankopen (sneller dan online)<\/strong>, informatie (want persoonlijk contact blijft vertrouwen inboezemen) en inspiratie (echt het zintuiglijke).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Met ThisPlays2 specialiseert Hanck\u00e9 zich net in het zorgen voor die sfeer op de winkelvloer, of dat nu met videomuren of achtergrondmuziek is. Het <strong>doortrekken van de online beleving blijkt daarbij essentieel<\/strong>: zo zorgt ThisPlays2 al enkele jaren voor de muziek in de winkels in Game Mania. Dat doet het op beeldschermen, waar tussen de liedjes ook trailers op worden afgespeeld van nieuwe en toekomstige spelletjeslanceringen. Het roept consumenten op zich verder te informeren en heeft zo een re\u00eble impact op de verkoop.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dat is echter slechts \u00e9\u00e9n van de vele cases die op 22 november aan bod zullen komen om omnichannel visibel te maken. Met marketingseminarie \u2018Pre-, to- &amp; in-store\u2026\u2019 trachten POPAI, the AIM, Sign &amp; Facade en ThisPlays2 immers<strong> aan te tonen dat omnichannel verder gaat dan de winkel.<\/strong> Om de cirkel volledig rond te maken, \u00e9cht coherent, is zoals POPAI zal bewijzen zelfs verpakking belangrijk.
