Die heeft een hoofdzetel in Nederland, maar laat de winsten ook circuleren naar Liechtenstein en Luxemburg.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>1 miljard euro<\/h2>\n<p>Dankzij die constructies zou Ikea in de periode tussen 2009 en 2014 maar liefst een miljard euro aan Europese belastingen uitgespaard hebben. De Europese Commissie gaat nu vooral onderzoeken of Ikea van de Nederlandse staat een oneerlijk voordeel heeft gekregen.\u00a0Dochteronderneming Inter Ikea Systems, die alle franchisevergoedingen int, is immers gevestigd in Nederland\u00a0en zou dankzij rulings van de Nederlandse fiscus in 2006 en 2011 de belastbare winst flink hebben kunnen verlagen. Dat soort regelingen zijn al langer een doorn in het oog van de Europese Commissie.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlle ondernemingen, groot of klein, multinational of niet,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/europa.eu\/rapid\/press-release_IP-17-5343_en.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">moeten hun eerlijk deel van de belastingen betalen<\/a>. Lidstaten mogen niet toelaten dat bepaalde ondernemingen minder belastingen betalen door hen toe te staan hun winsten kunstmatig naar een ander land te verschuiven&#8221;, zegt Eurocommissaris voor Mededinging Margrethe Vestager in een persbericht.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ikea is niet de eerste multinational die te maken krijgt met een onderzoek vanuit Europa:\u00a0ook Starbucks en Apple moesten onlangs heel wat achterstallige belastingen ophoesten na een onderzoek van de Europese Commissie.
