Doel: tot klinkende resultaten in de kassa\u2019s leiden.<\/p>\n<h2>\n<br \/>\nSchiet niet op het medium.<\/h2>\n<p>Uit een internationaal <a title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"nederland\/item\/1491-invloed-sociale-media-op-aankopen-nog-beperkt\" rel=\"noopener\"><font color=\"#cc0000\">onderzoek van Fleishman-Hillard<\/font><\/a> vloeit de onthutsende vaststelling dat alle sociale inspanningen die bedrijven leveren, zich amper vertalen in meer aankopen. <\/p>\n<p>\nHet onderzoek ondermijnt het potentieel van social commerce echter geenszins. Integendeel toont het aan dat sociale media marketing nog al te vaak misbegrepen en verkeerd aangepakt wordt. In het komende jaar zal sociaal shoppen pas ten volle zijn nut bewijzen. <\/p>\n<h2>\n<br \/>\nFlash sales, shopping clubs en Groupon.<\/h2>\n<p>Eind 2010 luidde al het begin in van een tijdperk waarin sociale media als <a title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"vandaag-in-beeld\/item\/1415-winkelen-op-facebook-kent-take-off-in-decembermaand\" rel=\"noopener\"><font color=\"#cc0000\">Facebook de rol van online retailplatform<\/font><\/a> op zich nemen. De eerste webshops volledig ge\u00efntegreerd binnen Facebook zagen het daglicht, waaronder e-shops van Amazon en zelfs Procter &amp; Gamble. <\/p>\n<p>\n2010 was ook het jaar van Groupon, de tot voor kort onbekende kortingssite die het zich kon permitteren om een miljardenbod van maar liefst Google af te slaan. Het succes van Groupon toont als geen ander de kracht van social commerce aan.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 10px;margin-left: 10px\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" align=\"right\" width=\"200\" height=\"133\" src=\"\/sites\/default\/files\/spacer.png\" \/>Idem voor <a title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"vandaag-in-beeld\/item\/1419-shopping-clubs-gegeerd-door-de-grote-e-tailers\" rel=\"noopener\"><font color=\"#cc0000\">shopping clubs<\/font><\/a>. Shopping clubs en sites met flash sales prolifereren dankzij het internet en sociale media. Zo oogst <a title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"vandaag-in-beeld\/item\/1442-vente-exclusivecom-krijgt-nieuwe-directeur\" rel=\"noopener\"><font color=\"#cc0000\">Vente-Exclusive.com<\/font><\/a> zowel in Belgi\u00eb als Nederland succes en kocht de Amerikaanse reus eBay het Duitse Brands4Friends. Flash sales sites zijn\u00a0bijzonder nuttig voor merkaanbieders om van overtollige voorraden af te komen, zonder in een circuit terecht te komen dat afbreuk doet aan de <em>brand image<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\nSteeds meer willen de producenten er bovendien zelf nog een graantje van meepikken. In Nederland zullen online retailers Bol.com, V&amp;D en Marktplaats.nl dit jaar voor het eerste heuse eigen flash sales\u00a0 houden.<\/p>\n<h2>\n<br \/>\nRetail wordt sociaal en sociale media gaan \u201cretail\u201d.<\/h2>\n<p>Het nieuwe jaar zal ongetwijfeld nog veel meer van dat moois brengen. In Nederland zal ook Hyves wellicht binnenkort grote broer Facebook achterna gaan en eveneens de wereld van de e-commerce betreden. Ook locatie-gebaseerde tools zullen bloeien. Retailers zullen steeds meer gebruik kunnen maken in-store check-in promoties, passieve geo-locatie door middel van automatische check-in en in-store AR markers.<\/p>\n<p>\nDe omgekeerde beweging zal bovendien tegelijkertijd plaatsvinden. Terwijl sociale media steeds meer \u201cretail\u201d worden, zal online retail in toenemende mate sociaal worden. Meer en meer zullen sociale functies en tools worden ge\u00efncorporeerd in e-commerce sites.
