China<strong> <\/strong>blijft zo een uitschieter op vlak van e-commerce.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Groei buiten grote steden<\/h2>\n<p>De totale online retailomzet in China kwam in 2017 uit op 7,18 biljoen yuan (930 miljard euro). Dat is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalcommerce360.com\/2018\/02\/08\/online-retail-sales-china-soar-past-1-trillion-2017\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">een stijging van 32%<\/a>\u00a0ten opzichte van 2016, toen er \u2018slechts\u2019 5,43 biljoen yuan online werd verkocht. In 2015 groeide de Chinese e-commerce met 33%, maar in 2016 viel die groei terug naar 26%. Die kleinere groei in 2016 blijkt dus geen nieuwe trend te zijn.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De Chinese groei kan voornamelijk toegeschreven worden aan consumenten die buiten de grote steden wonen: zij gaven in 2017 39% meer uit in webshops. Die groep consumenten is momenteel goed voor 17% van alle online aankopen in China. Daarbij valt ook op dat Chinese consumenten steeds meer over de landsgrenzen kopen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De verkoop van fysieke producten, zoals kleding, steeg met 28% naar 5,48 biljoen yuan (700 miljard euro) en is zo goed voor 15% van de totale retailomzet van fysieke producten. Een jaar eerder was dat nog maar 12,6%.
