Daarmee zijn ze volgens onderzoeksbureau <strong>IDC <\/strong>de grootste motor van AI wereldwijd, nog v\u00f3\u00f3r de banksector.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>AI-markt goed voor 15,52 miljard euro in 2018<\/h2>\n<p>In 2018 zal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20180322005847\/en\/Worldwide-Spending-Cognitive-Artificial-Intelligence-Systems-Grow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wereldwijd 19,1 miljard dollar<\/a>, omgerekend dik 15,5 miljard euro, worden uitgegeven aan systemen voor cognitieve en kunstmatige intelligentie. Dat is ruim de helft meer (54,2% om precies te zijn) dan vorig jaar, zo becijferde onderzoeksbureau IDC. Volgens IDC zal in 2019 al 40% van alle digitale transformatie-initiatieven gebruik maken van AI-services en in 2021 zal liefst driekwart van de bedrijfsapplicaties er gebruik van maken.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Opmerkelijk: de retailsector zal dit jaar de banksector overvleugelen en het meeste geld uitgeven aan artifici\u00eble intelligentie. IDC raamt de gezamenlijke uitgave van retailers wereldwijd op 3,4 miljard dollar (ca. 2,76 miljard euro).
