De tweede plaats gaat al meer verrassend naar Aldi, al hinkt diens populariteit flink achter de koploper aan.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Colruyt domineert Vlaanderen.<\/h2>\n<p>Volgens het onderzoeks- en informatiecentrum van de verbruikersorganisaties (OIVO) is in 2010 57% van de Belgen weleens een Colruyt binnengestapt. Aangezien de studie zich over heel Belgi\u00eb buigt, betekent dat grof gerekend zowat elke Vlaming. <\/p>\n<p>\nAldi is eervol tweede met een bezoekspopulariteit van 37%. De gemiddelde shopper bij de Duitse discountketen behoort volgens OIVO hoofdzakelijk tot de lagere sociale groepen en heeft vaak jonge kinderen. Een Colruyt-bezoeker is daarentegen gemiddeld veertig, gezegend met een kroost en afkomstig uit de hogere sociale regionen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Proximiteit is prioriteit.<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin-top: 10px;margin-left: 10px\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" align=\"right\" width=\"200\" height=\"133\" src=\"\/sites\/default\/files\/spacer.png\" \/>Over het algemeen winkelt men echter vooral bij de vestiging die het dichtst bij de woonst of werkplek ligt. Prijs- en kwaliteitsbekommernissen zijn daaraan van ondergeschikt belang. Toch wordt prijs opvallend vaak (10%) spontaan vernoemd door de respondenten, wat erop duidt dat de economische crisis nog zijn nasleep heeft.<\/p>\n<p>\nAcht op de tien consumenten beweert in de studie dat ze producten van een distributeurmerk (DM) kopen. E\u00e9n op de twee consumenten koopt evenwel producten van nationale merken, terwijl iets minder dan 33% de voorkeur aan eerste prijsmerken zegt te geven.<\/p>\n<p>\nQua winkelformaten staan klassieke supermarkten, soft en hard discounters nog steeds aan de top. De discountsupermarkten vertegenwoordigen ondertussen zelfs 14% van het aantal winkelbezoeken. Buurtmarkten kenden desalniettemin een frappante doorbraak in het afgelopen jaar.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Carrefour inconsistent imago.<\/h2>\n<p>Opmerkelijk is ten slotte dat de verwachtingen van consumenten rond Carrefour steeds meer lijken te divergeren. Het enseigne vertoont onder verbruikers een gebrek aan een consistent imago.
