Ook in Frankrijk wil het retailmerk fors groeien,\u00a0maar in Nederland matigt de groep\u00a0de verwachtingen.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Duitsland moet eerste markt worden<\/h2>\n<p>Begin dit jaar heeft Paprika een eerste Duitse winkel in Keulen geopend, een tweede winkel volgt in Bochum in het najaar. CEO Vincent Rousseau ziet het niettemin al groots: hij hoopt dat Duitsland de leidende Europese markt voor het merk zal worden, en dat al in de komende twee \u00e0 drie jaar.\u00a0Daarom staan in die periode twintig\u00a0winkelopeningen op het programma en <a href=\"https:\/\/fashionunited.nl\/nieuws\/retail\/paprika-geen-40-fysieke-winkels-in-nederland-focus-op-duitsland-en-frankrijk\/2018053032012\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">op langere termijn moeten er 80 of 90 Duitse winkels<\/a>\u00a0komen, vertelt de topman in een interview met FashionUnited. De fysieke winkels moeten er ook worden aangevuld met een krachtig e-commerceplatform.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Volgens Rousseau is de Duitse plussize-markt heel belangrijk, omdat het al lang met een zelfde aanbod aan merken\u00a0zit. \u201cDe Duitse plussize-consument is heel nieuwsgierig en is bereid om minder traditionele producten te kopen, minder fast-fashion en kleurrijker. Daardoor is Paprika zo anders dan andere partijen op de Duitse markt\u201d, meent Rousseau.\u00a0Ook Frankrijk moet verder vooruit: er zou nog potentieel zijn voor een verdubbeling van het winkelnetwerk, vooral dan in het noorden, oosten en westen. \u201cHet zuiden heeft minder marktpotentie\u201d, klinkt het.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Groeiplan in Nederland van tafel<\/h2>\n<p>Het betekent niettemin ook dat de aandacht wegebt van de Nederlandse markt, waar Paprika zich tot doel had gesteld veertig winkels in totaal te hebben en nog vijf tot tien extra winkels te openen. Dat plan laat de Belgische keten nu varen. \u201cWe zijn al in de grote steden. Onze internetactiviteiten komen overeen met 15 winkels, het is alsof je 40 winkels hebt in Nederland,\u201d probeert Rousseau te vergoelijken. Wel is er nog een winkelopening in het vernieuwde winkelcentrum Hoog-Catherijne in Utrecht voorzien.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sinds mei dit jaar haalt Paprika, dat vandaag 160 verkooppunten heeft, meer dan de helft van haar omzet uit de markten buiten Belgi\u00eb, zegt Rousseau nog in het interview.
