Daarmee is\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.retaildetail.nl\/nederland\/nl-algemeen\/item\/14324-niemand-gelooft-merken-op-facebook\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">onze jeugd zelfs nog iets kritischer dan hun Nederlandse leeftijdsgenoten<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Wat gewone consumenten op online fora en blogs schrijven, is voor achttien procent van de Belgische jongeren geloofwaardig. Ook <strong>wat hun vrienden hen vertellen<\/strong> over een merk of product (17%) behoort, net als de mening van andere merkgebruikers (16%), tot de top-3 van meest betrouwbare bronnen&#8221;, zegt Joeri Van den Bergh van InSites Consulting, op basis van een <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slideshare.net\/joerivandenbergh\/the-truth-and-nothing-but-the-truth-by-generation-y-around-the-world-16358470\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bevraging van meer dan 4.000 jongeren in 16 landen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Is Facebook weggegooid geld?<\/h2>\n<p>Jongeren vinden Facebookpagina&#8217;s van bedrijven dus<strong> bijna even ongeloofwaardig als advertenties<\/strong> of zelfs wat een concurrent over het merk vertelt. Die vaststelling doet meteen de vraag rijzen in hoeverre zo&#8217;n Facebookpagina dan weggegooid geld is of &#8211; op zijn minst &#8211;\u00a0of bedrijven niet overinvesteren in hun aanwezigheid op sociale media.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Dat denk ik niet&#8221;, zegt Joeri Van den Bergh: &#8220;Het is vooral een goede illustratie van hoe <strong>deze generatie zich erg bewust is van de marketingstrategie van een bedrijf<\/strong>. Aangezien jongeren vooral veel belang hechten aan de mening van \u00a0hun vrienden en andere gebruikers van een product of merk, moeten bedrijven het woord net aan deze \u00a0groepen laten.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>&#8216;Sociaal moet ook echt sociaal zijn&#8217;<\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;Wanneer merken hun <strong>sociale media \u00e9cht sociaal gebruiken door feedback<\/strong> en conversaties van gewone consumenten op hun pagina\u2019s toe te laten in plaats van ze zelf te vullen, dan zijn het wel degelijke nuttige marketinginstrumenten&#8221;, meent Van den Bergh verder.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sociale media zijn de enige media die op een betaalbare manier die open dialoog mogelijk maken, maar &#8220;<strong>Veel bedrijven gebruiken hun pagina\u2019s nog te commercieel<\/strong> en hopen dan dat jongeren hun merk zo cool vinden dat ze alles <em>liken<\/em> wat ze op die pagina\u2019s zetten. Zo werkt het echter niet.
