Na een sterk tweede kwartaal gaat het bedrijf voor extra groei in de Verenigde Staten.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Winst bereikt, maar al afgegeven<\/h2>\n<p>In het afgelopen tweede kwartaal zag <a href=\"http:\/\/ir.hellofreshgroup.com\/websites\/hellofresh\/English\/0\/investor-relations.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HelloFresh de omzet met 39% toenemen<\/a> tot 319,7 miljoen euro. De dekkingbijdrage (de marge na aftrek van variabele kosten, maar met inbegrip van vaste lasten) steeg tot 28%, wat beter was dan het bedrijf had verwacht.\u00a0In het tweede kwartaal kwam de aangepaste brutowinst (AEBITDA) van het bedrijf ook zowel in de VS als daarbuiten boven het rood uit: internationaal piekte de brutowinst op 4,1%, in de VS haalde HelloFresh 2,0% (zonder de investering in <strong>Green Chef<\/strong>\u00a0in maart).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Toch zal de maaltijdboxleverancier dit jaar nog niet break-even draaien, ook al had die dat eerder wel voorspeld. Het bedrijf zegt liever nog meer te investeren in groei. Zonder rekening te houden met wisselkoerseffecten, rekent HelloFresh voor 2018 op een omzetgroei tussen de 32 en 37%. Dat is licht meer dan de 30 \u00e0 35% die het begin dit jaar had vooropgesteld.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>HelloFresh zet in op Verenigde Staten en retail<\/h2>\n<p>De extra investeringen gaan vooral naar de Verenigde Staten, waar het bedrijf een uitgebreider aanbod wil lanceren. Zo startte het bedrijf er al <strong>EveryPlate <\/strong>in het lagere prijssegment, terwijl Green Chef meer premium is.\u00a0HelloFresh voert er een verbeten concurrentiestrijd met marktleider <strong>Blue Apron<\/strong>. Internationaal slaat de maaltijddienst ook de handen in elkaar met retailpartners, zodat HelloFresh binnenkort gewoon bij de supermarkt te koop is.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGezien de groeiende vraag in de markt van maaltijdboxen en daarbuiten, willen wij onszelf positioneren als de beste aanbieder in alle klanten- en prijssegmenten\u201d, redeneert CEO Dominik Richter.
