Hij wil vooral bruggen bouwen naar horeca en foodservice.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Nog meer foodservice<\/h2>\n<p>Sinds 20 augustus is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsa-conso.fr\/alexandre-de-palmas-nouveau-patron-de-la-proximite-de-carrefour,294311\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">De Palmas de opvolger van Christophe Rabatel<\/a> aan het hoofd van de proximiteitsconcepten van Carrefour France. Rabatel gaat Carrefour in Polen leiden, terwijl de 44-jarige De Palmas overkomt van foodservicebedrijf <strong>Elior<\/strong>\u00a0(bekend van wegrestaurants langs de Franse autosnelwegen, maar ook marktleider in schoolmaaltijden en uitbater van museumcafetaria\u2019s).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Eerder was De Palmas ook al actief bij concurrent <strong>Casino<\/strong>, waar hij instond voor de ontwikkeling van de formule. Zijn bedoeling is dan ook om zijn expertise in retail en horeca te combineren, door ook in de buurtwinkels van Carrefour nog meer in te zetten op zowel meeneemmaaltijden als consumptie ter plaatse. Bij zijn aantreden had CEO Alexandre Bompard het snackconcept Carrefour <strong>bon\u2019App<\/strong> nochtans meteen stopgezet. Wat Alexandre de Palmas er nu toch van weet te maken, wordt afwachten.
