Wel waarschuwt \u2019s werelds nummer twee in geestrijke dranken tegelijk voor een normalisatie in de tweede jaarhelft.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Sterke omzetgroei<\/h2>\n<p>De organische omzet van de producent van onder andere <strong>Ricard, Absolut Vodka, Jameson<\/strong> (whisky) en <strong>Martell <\/strong>(cognac) groeide met 10,4% tot 2,387 miljard euro, ruim beter dan de analistenconsensus van +7,3%. Die prestatie is volledig te danken aan Azi\u00eb (+23%) en met name\u00a0China, waar de groep kon profiteren van het \u2018maanfeest\u2019 (dat dit jaar in het eerste kwartaal viel). Ook in India, waar de groep vorig jaar een klap kreeg door strengere alcoholwetgeving, ging de Franse drankenspecialist er nu flink op vooruit.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Amerika (+2%) en vooral Europa (+1%) ontgoochelen echter. In de Verenigde Staten blijft de onderliggende groei weliswaar sterk en is de mindere prestatie vooral toe te schrijven aan leveringsproblemen, maar in Europa\u00a0(en met name in Spanje en op de Franse thuismarkt) lijkt de mindere prestatie stilaan structureel van aard. Ook het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Duitsland laten inmiddels mindere cijfers\u00a0optekenen, die de sterke Russische groei maar ten dele kan compenseren.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Voor het tweede kwartaal ziet Pernod Ricard weinig problemen: de groep verwacht sterk te presteren doordat het Chinese Nieuwjaar dit jaar iets vroeger valt en de Chinezen nu al hun voorraden inslaan. Voor de tweede jaarhelft ziet het bedrijf zijn groei \u201cnormaliseren\u201d.
