De retailer gaat fors investeren in winkels en technologie, en blijft tegelijk ook snijden in de kosten.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Nieuwe strategie<\/h2>\n<p>Vandaag presenteert Ahold Delhaize zijn nieuwe strategie, onder het motto \u2018Leading Together\u2019. De retailer formuleert daarin enkele sterke ambities: zo legt de fusiegroep de komende drie jaar de focus op vergelijkbare omzetgroei en marktaandeelwinst. Opmerkelijk daarbij is dat de onlineomzet moet verdubbelen tegen 2021 tot 7 miljard euro: dat is een pak meer dan de 5 miljard die het bedrijf tot nu toe als streefcijfer communiceerde.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De retailer gaat de komende drie jaar 3% van zijn omzet investeren in winkels, omnichannel en technologie. In de Verenigde Staten krijgt de grootste keten van de groep, <strong>Stop &amp; Shop<\/strong>, een herpositionering. Tegelijk wil de retailer blijven inzetten op kostenbesparingen: het \u2018Save for Our Customers\u2019 programma moet de groep een bijkomende 1,8 miljard euro opleveren tegen 2021.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn een sector die snel verandert zullen we ons richten op groei door de dagelijkse boodschappen eenvoudiger, verser en gezonder te maken voor onze klanten\u201d, aldus CEO Frans Muller.
