De angst om online te kopen smelt als sneeuw voor de zon.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Belgi\u00eb blijft achteraan hinken<\/h2>\n<p>De Europese B2C e-commerce haalt in 2019 een omzet van 621 miljard euro, zo becijferen vakfederaties Eurocommerce en Ecommerce Europe in een nieuw jaarrapport. De dubbelcijferige groei is vooral te danken aan West-Europa: die regio is inmiddels goed voor 66% van alle Europese e-commerce. Vorig jaar was B2C e-commerce al goed voor 3,82% van het bruto nationaal product in West-Europa.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hoewel Noord-Europa de hoogste internetpenetratie heeft, is die inmiddels ook in West-Europa bijna compleet met 92,3%. In Belgi\u00eb heeft 90% van de mensen toegang tot het internet. Onder hen kocht vorig jaar 67% online, waarmee Belgi\u00eb weliswaar in het midden van de Europese rangschikking bengelt maar het slechtst van alle West-Europese landen scoort. Nederland hoort bij de kopgroep met 84% onlineshoppers.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Bol.com domineert Nederland \u00e9n Belgi\u00eb<\/h2>\n<p>Onlineshoppende Belgen kopen 64% in andere EU-landen, 19% daarbuiten. Ze zijn zo euro-trouwer dan Nederlanders, die slechts 42% in EU-landen kopen en 32% elders. Nederlanders kopen wel 10% meer op de thuismarkt \u2013 zo\u2019n kwart van alle online aankopen. De grootste thuisshoppers zijn de Turken, die \u00fcberhaupt slechts 14% in het buitenland kopen.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De online omzet steeg in Nederland vorig jaar met 5,3%. Bijna de helft gaf er de voorkeur aan pakjes overdag thuis te laten leveren. Onder de bestverkopende webshops steekt <strong>Bol.com<\/strong> er met 1.220 miljoen euro omzet met kop en schouders bovenuit. <strong>Coolblue<\/strong> en <strong>Zalando<\/strong> volgen met respectievelijk 884 miljoen euro en 670 miljoen euro. Van de zeven grootste onlineverkopers zijn vier Nederlands.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ook in Belgi\u00eb staat Bol.com op de eerste plaats, met 386 miljoen euro Belgische omzet. Coolblue en <strong>Amazon.fr<\/strong> volgen met 322 en 153 miljoen euro. De enige Belgische speler in de top zeven is hekkensluiter <strong>Vandenborre<\/strong>. De helft van de Belgen geeft er overigens de voorkeur aan met Bancontact te betalen, tegenover 46% met kredietkaart. 64% kiest voor thuislevering.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Weinig tot geen obstakels<\/h2>\n<p>Over heel Europa gezien is Amazon de grootste, al is in Centraal-Europese landen en ook Portugal <strong>AliExpress<\/strong> al de grootste. Spanjaarden, Portugezen en Hongaren maken zich weliswaar zorgen om de veiligheid: liefst een op vijf durft daarom niet online te shoppen. In die landen leven ook andere vertrouwensissues het sterkst.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Opvallend is dat in de meeste West-Europese landen weinig tot geen obstakels worden ervaren: slechts 1% van de Belgen vreest problemen met de levering en maar 5% van de Nederlanders valt over onlinebetalingen.
