Via het onderzoek wilde de groep vooral inzicht krijgen in de voorkeuren van deze leeftijdsgroep, die 32% van de totale wereldbevolking uitmaakt. Van alle leeftijdsgroepen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aswatson.com\/gen-z-drives-global-sales-for-a-s-watson-the-digital-native-eyes-on-beauty-stores-rather-than-online\/#.XWUoHuMzbIU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">geeft Generatie Z het meeste uit aan schoonheidsproducten<\/a> en cosmetica (in verhouding tot het totale budget). Helemaal verwonderlijk is dat niet: het zijn jonge mensen, vaak met beperkte middelen en dikwijls wonen ze nog bij hun ouders.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Generatie Z-shoppers geven nog steeds de voorkeur aan fysieke winkels, zo stelt de studie, en ze genieten er vooral van om samen met vrienden te gaan shoppen. Ze verwachten wel dat ze er ook iets kunnen beleven: toepassingen met virtuele en toegevoegde reality, die in de winkels verwerkt worden, stellen ze erg op prijs. Ook de wisselwerking tussen online en offline belevenissen via apps en sociale media, vindt deze generatie boeiend.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Ik kijk veel online als ik van plan ben wat te kopen, maar ik hou van winkelen in winkels met mijn vrienden, vooral als er leuke dingen voor ons zijn, zoals spelen op de make-upspiegels waarmee we foto&#8217;s van onszelf kunnen maken om te delen op Snapchat&#8221;, aldus Chloe, een van de deelnemers aan het onderzoek. Om een keuze te maken uit het grote aanbod spelen trends, prijs, kwaliteit en duurzaamheid een belangrijke rol.
