In Elsene is een zesde vestiging geopend van Le Botaniste<\/strong>, een keten van vegetarische restaurant die vier jaar geleden werd gelanceerd door Le Pain Quotidien<\/strong>-oprichter Alain Coumont.<\/p>\n

Lokaal en bio<\/h2>\n

De eerste vestiging van Le Botaniste werd vier jaar geleden geopend in Gent<\/a>. Bedoeling was om een vegetarisch restaurant te openen met een ruim veganistisch aanbod, dat werkt met lokale en seizoensgebonden biogroenten en wijnen serveert zonder sulfiet of andere additieven.<\/p>\n

Het succes van de zaak in Gent was voor Coumont het sein om een tweede restaurant te openen in Manhattan. Ondertussen kwamen er nog twee nieuwe vestigingen bij in New York en ook twee in Brussel: deze week ging immers een zesde restaurant van start in Elsene, op de hoek van de Louizalaan en de Baljuwstraat.<\/p>\n
