Hij pleit voor meer transparantie en voor eengemaakte prijzen in Europa.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>&#8220;Enorme nationale prijsverschillen&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;Consumenten moeten zich ervan bewust zijn dat merkartikelen van grote fabrikanten vaak slechts in drie fabrieken worden gemaakt. Waarom hebben we dan verschillende prijzen op elk van de 27 nationale markten? <a href=\"https:\/\/www.german-retail-blog.com\/topic\/past-blogs\/CEO-Frans-Muller-talks-Ahold-Delhaize-and-Coopernic-462?utm_source=nl199&amp;utm_medium=newsletter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Waarom zien we geen snellere ontwikkeling in de richting van Europese prijzen<\/a>? Immers, als we de zaken zouden kunnen vereenvoudigen, dan zou dat ons hele leven gemakkelijker maken&#8221;, zegt Muller in een interview met German Retail Blog.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Enorme nationale prijsverschillen voor standaard merkproducten ondermijnen volgens de CEO alle voordelen van \u00e9\u00e9n Europese markt. Ze maken ook de toeleveringsketens onnodig complex. &#8220;Dat is niet onze schuld als retailer, want wij staan meer dan open voor meer prijstransparantie. Het is ook oneerlijk dat leveranciers heel blij lijken te zijn als grote discounters centraal inkopen, hoewel ze veel groter zijn dan wij.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Muller wil graag meer effici\u00ebntie in de toeleveringsketen en meer prijstransparantie voor de klanten: &#8220;Het is voor hen heel moeilijk te begrijpen waarom iemand in Frankrijk slechts \u00e9\u00e9n grens naar het zuiden moet oversteken om een blikje frisdrank 25 procent goedkoper te vinden. Laten we dus alstublieft meer prijsconsistentie en -transparantie hebben in Europa.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>\u201cCoopernic is geen inkooporganisatie\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>Muller voelt zich niet aangesproken door het verwijt dat Europese inkoopcentrales als AMS Sourcing (voor huismerken) en Coopernic (voor A-merken) het conflict zoeken met merkfabrikanten. &#8220;Coopernic biedt grote kansen voor leveranciers via een verbeterde Europese distributie&#8221;, benadrukt hij. &#8220;Onderhandelingen bij Coopernic zijn eenvoudiger dan sommige mensen denken omdat ze er ten onrechte van uitgaan dat we onderhandelen over handelsvoorwaarden. In feite onderhandelen we niet over prijzen of leveranciersvoordelen. We onderhandelen alleen over een <em>overrider<\/em> of een on-top bedrag voor onze totale Europese distributierelatie.\u201d Coopernic is volgens Muller dan ook geen inkooporganisatie.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hij benadrukt dat de onderhandelingen momenteel goed verlopen: &#8220;We zijn verder met onze totale onderhandelingsresultaten dan vorig jaar en met minder conflicten.\u201d Dat fabrikanten klagen over de marges, vindt hij onterecht: \u201cWij maken een marge van 4% boven de lijn, wat heel goed is voor een Europese retailer, maar grote fabrikanten halen 10% of meer!
