Zwitserland, Spanje en het Verenigd Koninkrijk blijven de voortrekkers.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Goedkoper alternatief<\/h2>\n<p>Itali\u00eb is nu het enige land waar het volume-aandeel van de huismerken onder de 30% blijft: huismerken hebben er een aandeel van 22,3% in volume en 19,1% in waarde. Ook al was er een stijging met meer dan 2%, toch blijft het land nog ver achter op de Europese koploper Zwitserland: daar palmen huismerken bijna de helft van de markt in, met een aandeel van 49,8% in volume en 42,5% in waarde. De cijfers komen uit <a href=\"https:\/\/yearbook.plmainternational.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">de nieuwste editie van het International Private Label Yearbook<\/a>, een uitgave van PLMA (de associatie van huismerkfabrikanten) en onderzoeksbureau Nielsen.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In Zwitserland daalde het aandeel van de huismerken wel lichtjes, maar in veertien van de negentien onderzochte landen steeg het marktaandeel van huismerken vorig jaar. In zes landen vertegenwoordigen de huismerken meer dan 40% van het volume, maar in omzet ligt het aandeel beduidend lager: huismerken bieden doorgaans immers een goedkoper alternatief voor merkproducten.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Lichte daling in Benelux<\/h2>\n<p>In Belgi\u00eb bedraagt het aandeel huismerken nu 44% in volume en 31,6% in waarde. Het aandeel steeg licht in volume maar daalde in waarde, wat op een wat grotere prijsdruk wijst. In de categorie\u00ebn vers, diepvries en gebak is het aandeel het grootst. Sterkste stijgers waren koekjesmix voor kinderen, bereide maaltijdkits, vlekkenverwijderaars en tandenstokers.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In Nederland daalde het huismerkaandeel heel licht, zowel in volume (van 37,1% naar 37,0%) als in waarde (van 33,4% naar 33,3%). Het aandeel is er het grootst in vers, delicatessen en gebak. In diepvries is het aandeel opmerkelijk lager dan in de meeste andere landen.
