Daarin staan sinds 2012 een aantal engagementen rond reclame naar kinderen jonger dan 12 jaar.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Belgian Pledge 3.0<\/h2>\n<p>De Belgian Pledge is een initiatief van <strong>Fevia<\/strong>, <strong>Comeos<\/strong> en <strong>UBA<\/strong>. Omdat kinderen jonger dan 12 jaar nog niet voldoende kritisch kunnen omgaan met reclame en marketing, willen zij hierover duidelijke regels\u00a0vastleggen. Ondertussen hebben 52 voedingsbedrijven, handelaars, restaurantketens en cateraars zich ge\u00ebngageerd om de richtlijnen na te leven.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De initi\u00eble engagementen gingen over reclame op tv, op scholen en op de website van de bedrijven. Maar de (technologische) wereld evolueert voortdurend\u00a0en dus werden de regels in 2017 uitgebreid naar 9 bijkomende kanalen, waaronder bedrijfsprofielen op sociale media zoals <strong>Facebook<\/strong> en <strong>Youtube<\/strong>, interactieve spelletjes en mobile en sms-marketing.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Drie vernieuwingen<\/h2>\n<p>Vandaag lanceren de inititiefnemers de Belgian Pledge 3.0, met vernieuwingen op drie vlakken. Er komen in de eerste plaats strengere voedingskundige criteria. Enkel voor producten die aan die criteria beantwoorden, mag men reclame maken gericht op kinderen jonger dan 12 jaar. Producenten worden op die manier aangemoedigd om te innoveren, en producten op de markt te brengen met minder vetten, suikers of zout.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Een tweede maatregel is het testen van een nieuw klachtensysteem. Die komt bovenop de reeds bestaande jaarlijkse monitoring. De klachten zullen beoordeeld worden door onafhankelijke experts van de <strong>Jury voor Ethische Praktijken inzake reclame<\/strong> (JEP). De genomen beslissingen worden gepubliceerd op de website van de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.belgianpledge.be\/nl\/voedingssector-breidt-engagement-voor-verantwoorde-reclame-naar-kinderen-uit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Belgian Pledge<\/a> en op die van de JEP.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ten slotte wil de Belgian Pledge 3.0 ook reclame via online influencers beperken.
