Het merk beleeft een grootse herlancering in een nieuwe verpakking en brengt binnenkort de eerste Belgische biologische limonade op de markt.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Slow is good<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cOnze nationale trots,\u201d zo noemt marketingdirecteur Anouk Van Hauteghem het watermerk Chaudfontaine, dat dit jaar een prioriteit is voor <strong>Coca-Cola<\/strong>. Het bedrijf gelooft sterk in het groeipotentieel en geeft nu het startschot voor een \u201congeziene\u201d campagne. \u201cDe omvang en de impact van de coronacrisis is veel groter dan we hadden kunnen denken, maar als we er \u00e9\u00e9n ding uit geleerd hebben, is het dat vertragen ook wel iets positiefs inhoudt. Onze nieuwe campagne met als slogan <em>\u201cSlow is good\u201d<\/em> nodigt de consument uit om te vertragen. Dat idee past perfect bij het productverhaal dat Chaudfontaine wil vertellen,\u201d zegt ze.<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Het unieke water wordt namelijk gedurende zestig jaar door de Belgische bodem gefilterd alvorens het ontspringt aan de bron. Het bereikt daarbij een diepte van wel 1600 meter. \u201cDaardoor warmt het water ook op: op 1600 m diepte is het water 55 \u00b0C warm en op het moment dat het weer bovenkomt nog 37\u00b0C. Vandaar ook de naam Chaudfontaine, de warme bron.\u201d De langdurige filtering resulteert in een heel puur water met een evenwichtige samenstelling en een extreem laag gehalte aan nitraten.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Bio en lokaal<\/h2>\n<p>Voor het eerst voert Chaudfontaine een campagne van deze omvang. Tegelijk met de campagne krijgt de verpakking een nieuwe huisstijl die nog meer de nadruk legt op puurheid en natuurlijkheid. Op de lichtblauwe verpakkingen spelen twee druppels de hoofdrol: zij stellen het proces voor van het water dat door de bodem gaat en weer boven komt. Bovendien lanceert Chaudfontaine enkele nieuwe producten: \u201cWe komen in de loop van februari met de allereerste Belgische bruisende biolimonade met brede distributie. In eerste instantie in twee varianten: <em>lime-mint<\/em> en <em>dark berries<\/em>. Later op het jaar volgt er een <em>orange<\/em> smaak.\u201d<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De coronacrisis veroorzaakte een groei van wel 15% in volume voor bio, bovendien kopen consumenten meer lokaal en grijpen ze in crisistijden makkelijker terug naar vertrouwde merken. Dat speelt in het voordeel van het lokale merk Chaudfontaine.<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Uiteraard heeft de sluiting van de horeca een grote impact voor Coca-Cola. \u201cWe hebben een stukje verschuiving gezien van horeca naar retail. Water heeft geen slecht jaar achter de rug met 5% groei in volume en 4% in waarde.\u201d Chaudfontaine is in de retail het derde watermerk na Spa en Evian, in de horeca is het marktleider.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chaudfontaine trekt lessen uit de coronacrisis: traag is goed.
