Net zoals grote rivaal <strong>Coca-Cola<\/strong>, rekent het bedrijf op een geslaagde vaccinatiecampagne om zijn groei in 2021 aan te wakkeren.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Oude gewoonten<\/h2>\n<p>Het concern verwacht dat de vergelijkbare omzet \u2013 \u00a0dus exclusief valuta-effecten, desinvesteringen of acquisities \u2013 dit jaar met ongeveer 5% zal stijgen. &#8220;Wij gaan ervan uit dat de vaccinatiecampagnes zullen versnellen en dat de bevolking zich geleidelijk weer meer zal verplaatsen. Het bedrijf kon het herstel, dat zich aftekende in het derde kwartaal, ook in het vierde kwartaal voorzetten. In Noord-Amerika steeg de verkoop van softdrinks met 9%. Maar ook de snacks zoals <strong>Lays<\/strong> Chips en <strong>Cheetos <\/strong>ontbijtkoekjes deden het goed (+6%), net als de <strong>Quaker<\/strong> havermout (+8%). Ook in andere regio&#8217;s stegen de opbrengsten, behalve in Latijns-Amerika, waar ze met 5% terugvielen, voornamelijk ten gevolge van negatieve valuta-effecten.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De totale groepsomzet voor de drie maanden eindigend op 26 december steeg met 8,8% tot 22,4 miljard dollar (18,5 miljard euro). Voor het hele jaar groeiden de opbrengsten van PepsiCo met 4,8% tot 70,4 miljard dollar (58 miljard euro).
