De voedingstak presteerde erg sterk, en dan vooral de ijsjes voor thuisconsumptie.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Valuta-effecten wissen groei uit<\/h2>\n<p>De onderliggende omzet van Unilever steeg in de eerste drie maanden van het jaar met 5,7%. Toch lag de gerapporteerde omzet met 12,3\u00a0miljard euro bijna 1% lager dan een jaar geleden door negatieve wisselkoerseffecten.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De food-divisie groeide met 9,8%, vooral gedragen door een stijgende vraag naar ijs. Het merendeel daarvan werd thuis geconsumeerd, al lijkt ook het out-of-home kanaal zich stilaan te herstellen. De groei in dat segment (+4%) kwam nagenoeg volledig uit China. Uiteraard profiteert Unilever hier ook van een zwakke vergelijkingsbasis; de verkoop ligt nog niet op het niveau van v\u00f3\u00f3r de crisis.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ook de schoonmaak-en wasmiddelendivisie ging er gevoelig op vooruit, met een onderliggende omzetgroei van 5,9%. De hygi\u00ebne- en verzorgingsproducten groeiden met 2,3%. Unilever verkocht beduidend meer shampoo en huidverzorgingsartikelen, maar zag de omzet uit deodoranten met <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nu.nl\/economie\/6130427\/unilever-verkoopt-meer-ijs-maar-minder-deodorant-in-eerste-kwartaal.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">zowat een vijfde terugvallen<\/a>, schrijft NU.nl.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De opgetekende omzetgroei komt vooral door de aantrekkende vraag uit China en India (+9,9%).
