Het modeplatform telt nu 44,5\u00a0miljoen actieve klanten.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Klantenbestand groeit met 30%<\/h2>\n<p>Tussen 1\u00a0april en 30\u00a0juni stegen het bruto handelsvolume en de omzet van Zalando met respectievelijk 40% en 34,3%. Het platform schrijft groei toe aan de intensieve klantenwerving, de sterke prestaties van het partnerprogramma en een succesvolle \u2018End of Season Sale\u2019. Door de langdurige lockdowns in verschillende Europese landen (waaronder Duitsland) bleven klanten bovendien vooral online shoppen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Aan het eind van de gerapporteerde periode telde Zalando 44,5\u00a0miljoen actieve klanten, een stijging met ruim 30% ten opzichte van dezelfde periode vorig jaar. Het platform zag trouwens niet alleen het aantal klanten aangroeien, maar ook de bestelfrequentie bereikte een nieuwe recordhoogte.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Marketing loont<\/h2>\n<p>In de eerste jaarhelft nam de totale omzet toe met 39,7% tot 4,97\u00a0miljard euro. Door de zware investeringen om nieuwe klanten aan te trekken, viel de winst wel wat lager uit dan een jaar geleden. Het operationeel resultaat zakte van 198,4\u00a0miljoen euro naar 186,4\u00a0miljoen euro en dat was nagenoeg volledig te wijten aan hogere marketinguitgaven. De bedrijfswinst verdrievoudigde wel en kwam uit op 264,9\u00a0miljoen euro.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Voor het hele boekjaar rekent Zalando nog steeds op een omzetgroei tussen 26% en 31%.
