Daarbij werden de <strong>gewoontes van consumenten die bij de hoogste 20 procent inkomens hoorden in hun land<\/strong> vergeleken met de rest van de bevolking.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>BBC World News kwam daarbij tot de conclusie dat bij die groep het aantal gebruikers dat liever zijn nieuws leest op de smartphone of zijn tablet met respectievelijk <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/mediacentre\/worldnews\/wn-smartphone-study.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">15 procent en 9 procent is gestegen<\/a> ten opzichte van 2012. Het gebruik van de gewone pc is<strong> in diezelfde periode met 17 procent gezakt<\/strong>. 39 procent van de gebruikers gebruikt ook minstens \u00e9\u00e9n keer per uur het internet op zijn of haar smartphone.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De algemene conclusie was dat rijkere smartphonebezitters <strong>veel meer gebruikmaken van mobiele toestellen dan de gemiddelde bevolking<\/strong>. Zo gebruikt 51 procent van hen een mobiel toestel voor zaken, vergeleken met 40 procent bij de rest van de bevolking. Het aantal consumenten dat zijn locatie deelt, ligt bij hen ook 18 procent hoger.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Mobile advertising beter voor rijkere consument<\/h2>\n<p>Interessant voor retailers is dat een derde van hen vindt dat een <strong>merk &#8216;mobiel&#8217; moet zijn om modern en dynamisch te zijn<\/strong>. Dat aantal is vijftien procent hoger dan bij de rest van de gebruikers.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ook op vlak van mobile advertising stijgt de effectiviteit aanzienlijk bij welgestelde consumenten.
