Hiermee trekt de groep zich volledig terug uit Azi\u00eb, \u00e9\u00e9n jaar na de verkoop van zijn Chinese activiteiten.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Exit uit Azi\u00eb afgerond<\/h2>\n<p>Auchan Retail verkoopt zijn belang van 64,83% in de Taiwanese retailer RT Mart aan de lokale supermarktgroep <strong>PX-Mart<\/strong>. Ook de Ruentex-groep doet afstand van haar belang in RT Mart, waardoor dat na afloop van de transactie voor 95,97% in handen komt van PX-Mart.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De verkoop maakt deel uit van het plan om niet-strategische activa af te stoten en bevestigt de geografische herori\u00ebntering van Auchan Retail. In oktober vorig jaar had de Franse retailgroep reeds <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/nl\/news\/food\/auchan-verkoopt-chinese-tak-aan-alibaba\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">haar Chinese divisie Sun Art verkocht<\/a> aan <strong>Alibaba<\/strong> voor drie miljard euro. Met de verkoop van de Taiwanese activiteiten is de exit uit Azi\u00eb nu compleet.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>RT-Mart exploiteert drie winkeltypes in Taiwan: hypermarkten, gemakswinkels en een hybride concept van een voedingswinkel gecombineerd met een multi-restaurantgedeelte. Het bedrijf telt 4.200\u00a0werknemers en realiseerde in\u00a02020 een omzet van omgerekend 800\u00a0miljoen euro.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De nieuwe eigenaar, PX Mart, werd opgericht in\u00a01998 en is de grootste supermarktketen in Taiwan.
