Het aantal actieve klanten groeide van 5 miljoen naar 6,9 miljoen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De maaltijdpakketbezorger blijft intussen investeren in de verhoging van de productiecapaciteit en de uitbreiding naar nieuwe markten. In juli ging het bedrijf van start in Noorwegen en sinds oktober is HelloFresh eveneens actief in Itali\u00eb. De overname van <strong>YouFoodz<\/strong>, de grootste producent van kant-en-klaarmaaltijden in Australi\u00eb, is volledig afgerond en onlangs nam HelloFresh bovendien een belang van 10% in zijn Russische branchegenoot <strong>Chefmarket<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMet al die investeringen behouden we de focus op onze omzetdoelstelling van 10 miljard euro op middellange termijn en zijn we goed op weg om de toonaangevende wereldwijde speler in \u2018food solutions\u2019 te worden&#8221;, zegt Dominik Richter, mede-oprichter en CEO van HelloFresh.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Kosten nemen toe<\/h2>\n<p>De grote investeringen wogen wel op de winstgevendheid van het bedrijf. De aangepaste brutobedrijfswinst (aebitda) daalde met ruim 30% tot 79,8 miljoen euro. De aebitda-marge kromp van 11,8% naar 5,6%. Naast de hoge investeringskosten speelden de terugkeer naar een \u2018normaler zomerseizoen\u2019 en in mindere mate een zekere vorm van inflatie in bepaalde kostencategorie\u00ebn daarin een rol, stelt HelloFresh.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Voor heel 2021 verwacht het bedrijf nu een omzetgroei van 57 tot 62%. Tot nu toe rekende HelloFresh op een toename van 45 \u00e0 55%.
