Analistenprognoses werden daarbij verpletterd. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De dure horloges en juwelen van de groep (onder o.a. merken Hublot en Bulgari) verkochten als zoete broodjes, goed voor een omzetstijging van 28% ten opzichte van vorig jaar. Ook de alcoholische dranken (Mo\u00ebt-Chandon, Hennessy e.a.) gingen vlot over de toonbank (+20%), evenals de mode en handtassen (+17%, dankzij voornamelijk Louis Vuitton en Dior) en parfums en cosmetica (+9%).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De totale omzet bereikte op die manier 5,25 miljard euro. Opvallend is dat LVMH die groei niet enkel te danken heeft aan de snelgroeilanden, zoals de Aziatische regio. Ook in de VS en in Europa nam de vraag opnieuw toe. Al in de laatste maanden van 2010 merkte de groep overigens een heropleving.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Desalniettemin zet de luxegroep dit jaar vooral sterk in op Japan. Het land vormde een belangrijke groeimarkt voor LVMH voor de recente aardbeving.
