De focus ligt op vers, het huismerk en e-commerce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Grote investering<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De Match-supermarkten in Belgi\u00eb zullen de komende jaren de overstap maken naar een nieuw enseigne en een nieuw concept: Louis Delhaize Open Market. De winkels worden gemoderniseerd en zullen sterker de nadruk leggen op het versaanbod en op het huismerk Louis, dat van 600 naar 2.400 referenties zal groeien. Ook e-commerce krijgt een plaats in de strategie, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nieuwsblad.be\/cnt\/dmf20220223_96601600\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">met afhaalzones voor online bestellingen<\/a>, vertelt CEO Jean-Marc van Cutsem aan Het Nieuwsblad. De wat kleinere Smatch-buurtsupermarkten worden Louis Delhaize-winkels, na geslaagde tests in Ertvelde en Lendelede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De ombouwoperatie gaat nog voor de zomer van start: vanaf juni krijgen drie supermarkten een makeover, acht andere volgen in&nbsp;2023. Ook worden elk jaar tien buurtsupers verbouwd. Binnen drie jaar moeten alle 55&nbsp;Smatch en 35&nbsp;Match supermarkten zijn omgebouwd. Tegelijk neemt de retailer een nieuw distributiecentrum in gebruik, in Nijvel. Het depot in Mariakerke zal sluiten. De hele operatie is goed voor een investering van wel 90&nbsp;miljoen euro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De hoogste tijd<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2019 kondigde de retailer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/nl\/news\/food\/plan-de-relance-match-et-smatch-16-magasins-et-210-jobs-menaces\/\">ook al een herlanceringsplan aan<\/a>, toen nog onder de leiding van CEO St\u00e9phane de Rango. Daarbij werden toen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/nl\/news\/food\/vier-matchsmatch-winkels-ontsnappen-aan-sluiting\">twaalf winkels gesloten<\/a>, een herstructurering die de keten in staat stelde om in&nbsp;2020 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/nl\/news\/food\/%E2%80%9Ccora-en-match-groeien-weer%E2%80%9D\">weer te groeien en winstgevend te worden<\/a>.
