Meer merken benaderen de consument rechtstreeks, met de opkomst van \u201c<em>digital-native vertical brands<\/em>\u201d als belangrijke trend.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Door elkaar geschud<\/h2>\n<p>Cross-Border Commerce Europe, het platform dat internationale e-commerce in Europa stimuleert, rangschikt de sterkste Europese spelers op basis van hun online cross-border omzet, SEO-indicatoren, het aantal landen waar de retailer actief is en het aantal en het percentage van buitenlandse bezoekers. Zopas verscheen de vierde editie, met de cijfers over\u00a02021.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/nl\/news\/algemeen\/ikea-leidt-top-500-europese-cross-border-webshops\">Net als vorig jaar<\/a> staat Ikea op de eerste plaats met een cross-border omzet van 5,5\u00a0miljard euro, een stijging van 8% vergeleken met\u00a02020. H&amp;M behoudt zijn tweede plaats en Lego springt van vijf naar drie voor een volledig Scandinavisch podium. De top tien werd overigens flink door elkaar geschud: nieuwkomers zijn Zalando, Lidl, About You, Jysk, Zara, Bauhaus en Euronics.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Impact van de Brexit<\/h2>\n<p>De totale Europese online cross-border markt was goed voor een omzet van 171,2\u00a0miljard euro in 2021 (exclusief reizen), een stijging van 17% ten opzichte van\u00a02020. Europese webwinkels behaalden een record van 100\u00a0miljard euro aan internationale omzet. De spelers uit de Top\u00a0500 ontvangen elke maand 1,4\u00a0miljard buitenlandse bezoekers, een stijging van\u00a040%. Ook de komende jaren verwachten de onderzoekers een enorme groei: dit jaar zal de omzet op 220\u00a0miljard uitkomen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Het Verenigd Koninkrijk verloor zijn nummer \u00e9\u00e9n-positie als het belangrijkste Europese land voor internationale verkopen aan Duitsland: een logisch gevolg van de Brexit, waardoor de Britse verkopen aan het buitenland daalden van 33\u00a0naar 29\u00a0miljard euro. Het aantal Britse retailers in de Top 500 daalde van\u00a0100 in\u00a02020 naar\u00a068 in\u00a02021.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Groei voor marktplaatsen<\/h2>\n<p>Opmerkelijk in de rangschikking is de sterke stijging met 50% van het aantal merkfabrikanten met <em>direct-to-consumer<\/em>-kanalen, zoals Lego, Nespresso, Adidas en Philips. Ook het aantal marktplaatsen stijgt sterk, van\u00a028 naar\u00a042: samen realiseren platformen al een recordomzet van 20\u00a0miljard euro.
