Nu video het favoriete communicatiekanaal is bij jonge millennials en Generatie Z, maakt \u2018live commerce\u2019, shoppen via livestreams, furore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Boerin met 15 miljoen volgers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>2020 betekende de doorbraak van livestreaming in het Westen. De grote eyeopener was wellicht het moment waarop de moeder der influencers Kim Kardashian in enkele minuten tijd 13 miljoen Chinese consumenten bereikte en haar hele voorraad parfumflesjes uitverkocht tijdens een livestream-event op <strong>Alibaba<\/strong>-platform <strong>Taobao Live<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taobao Live ontstond als een manier om onlineshoppen meer als een winkel- en service-ervaring te laten aanvoelen, maar zeker om Chinezen te overtuigen om voeding online te kopen, bleek livestreaming de uitgelezen methode. Door boeren hun oogst te laten filmen, raken de kritische Chinese consumenten overtuigd van de versheid en kwaliteit van lokale landbouw. Vandaag zijn er honderdduizenden boeren die livestreamen en enkelen zijn zelfs heuse sterren. Boerin Liu Mama harkte al pre-corona met haar tractor en haar riek <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/culture\/culture-desk\/the-chinese-farmer-who-live-streamed-her-life-and-made-a-fortune\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">zo\u2019n 140.000 dollar per maand bijeen<\/a> en had bijna 15 miljoen volgers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Naast de landbouwindustrie zijn het vooral de beauty- en fashionsectoren die profiteren van livestreaming, zodanig dat het ondertussen een vast onderdeel is van het onlineshoppen in China. Maandelijks bereiken de filmpjes meer dan 100 miljoen kijkers. Twee derde van de Chinezen kocht in 2020 via livestream, goed voor in totaal 60 miljard dollar omzet. Alibaba verkocht dat jaar tijdens het shoppingfestival Singles\u2019 Day voor 6 miljard dollar via Taobao Live. Als dat zo doorgaat, zou livestreaming wereldwijd weleens 10 tot 20% van alle onlineverkoop kunnen uitmaken in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=46ErgZ_j730\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TikTok toont de toekomst<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Doorgaan doet het: plotseling geconfronteerd met gesloten winkels, zochten winkeliers in 2020 en 2021 over de hele wereld naar alternatieven om hun winkelbeleving aan de man te brengen. Tijdens de coronalockdowns lanceerde <strong>Media Markt<\/strong> \u2018live shopping\u2019, interactieve onlinesessies die het midden hielden tussen teleshopping en vloggen onder leiding van influencers. Tal van ketens, waaronder in Belgi\u00eb parfumerieketen <strong>ICI Paris XL<\/strong>, lieten ook hun medewerkers vanuit de winkels streamen, om live advies te geven, producten te presenteren en vragen van klanten te beantwoorden. Zelfs Amazon cre\u00eberde inderhaast Amazon Live voor \u2018dagelijkse koopjes\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nu video het favoriete communicatiekanaal is bij jonge millennials en Generatie Z, met dank aan het succes van <strong>YouTube<\/strong>-vlogs en <strong>TikTok<\/strong>, springt iedereen op de kar. <strong>Facebook <\/strong>en <strong>Instagram <\/strong>maakten het eerst mogelijk om producten op foto\u2019s te kopen, daarna voegden ze ook \u2018live shopping\u2019 toe om merken, retailers en influencers producten te laten aanprijzen in filmpjes. Vrijwel iedereen is het er echter over eens dat TikTok de toekomst van \u2018live commerce\u2019 in het Westen is. Als Chinese app begrijpt het de finesses van het vak als geen ander. Het moederbedrijf van TikTok investeert zelfs eigenhandig in influencers die furore maken en grof geld verdienen op het videoplatform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Klant is koning van je merk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De trend toont vooral de groeiende kracht van de consument en zijn netwerk aan. Shoppers cre\u00ebren steeds meer hun eigen winkelmedium, waarvan zij curator en redacteur zijn. Content is koning, en het zijn de \u2018content creators\u2019 die het voor het zeggen hebben. Als een merk of een retailer leeft door de content, zijn het de makers van die content die de macht in handen hebben. Elk merk en elke retailer heeft er dus baat bij de banden met zijn klantengemeenschap aan te halen en hun \u2018influence\u2019 te benutten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In China is het al lang niet meer de eigen marketing die een merk maakt of kraakt, maar de \u2018buzz\u2019 die het consumentennetwerk eraan geeft. Influencers be\u00efnvloeden er tot de helft van alle aankopen en bijna de helft van de internetgebruikers kijkt livestreams, waarin mensen live producten reviewen en boeren\/producenten zelf hun koopwaar presenteren.
