Dat onderzoek van Merchant Warehouse toonde aan dat 69 procent van de smartphonegebruikers tussen 18 en 36 jaar aan webrooming heeft gedaan en slechts 50 procent aan showrooming. Het zou goed nieuws moeten zijn voor de handelaars in de winkelstraat, maar bij RedSnapper zetten ze toch een voetnoot bij het onderzoek.<\/p>\n<p>Zij onderzochten of de Britse consument misschien eerder aan boomerooming doet dan aan webrooming. Daaruit blijkt dat 67 procent van de vrouwen aan boomerooming doet en 58 procent van de mannen. De leeftijdsgroep die het meeste aan boomerooming doet is de groep van 40-59 jaar.<\/p>\n<h2>\n<br \/>Combinatie van voordelen<\/h2>\n<p>De belangrijkste reden om de tussenstap in de winkel te maken, is het gebrek aan fysiek contact met het product online. Consumenten willen een product waar ze interesse in hebben even kunnen bekijken of aanraken, en dat kan nu eenmaal wat moeilijker online. Zowat de helft van de ondervraagden gaf dit zelfs aan als belangrijkste negatieve punt bij online shoppen.<\/p>\n<p>Het lijkt er dus op dat een belangrijk aandeel van de consumenten de belangrijkste voordelen van online shoppen (ruime keuze, zoekgemak, lagere prijzen) heeft weten te combineren met de ervaring en de voordelen van winkelen in de winkelstraat: nog meer slecht nieuws voor &#8216;pure players&#8217; dus (zowel online als offline), en nog maar eens een bewijs dat de toekomst &#8211; en zelfs al het heden &#8211; omnichannel is&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Meerderheid doet aan boomerooming Internetbureau RedSnapper deed het onderzoek naar boomerooming in navolging van een onderzoek naar webrooming en showrooming.
