Momenteel bereikt het maar een klein deel van de consumenten dat zich bereid heeft verklaard om ecologisch verantwoorde producten te kopen.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We hebben daar een zichtbaarheidsprobleem, want de mensen vinden onze producten niet in het schap. Verder willen we de consument centraler zetten in onze marketingaanpak. Vroeger maakten we proposities die uitgingen van &#8216;het redden van de planeet&#8217;, maar daar zijn we meer en meer van aan het afstappen. We willen de mensen nu meer overtuigen door de toegevoegde waarde en de functionaliteiten van onze producten&#8221;, zegt Astrid Leyssens, marketing manager van Ecover in Belgi\u00eb en Luxemburg aan Media Marketing.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Lancering nieuw merk<\/h2>\n<p>Ecover heeft daarnaast weinig angst van grote merken die ook groene producten zijn beginnen verkopen. Volgens Leyssens is het bijzonder moeilijk om klanten van die merken te overtuigen om over te schakelen op groene producten van hetzelfde merk: &#8220;Je kunt hen niet overtuigen als je geen groen bedrijf bent. Het is een beetje zoals de salades bij McDonald&#8217;s, dat voelt gewoon raar. Volgens mij ligt een groot deel van de consumenten van die grote merken ook niet echt wakker van ecologie.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ecover heeft momenteel zelf een marktaandeel van 2,6 procent en het groeide in 2013 met tien procent. Binnen enkele weken lanceert het ook het Amerikaanse merk <strong>Method<\/strong>, dat het in 2012 inlijfde. Met dat merk hoopt het vooral een jonge en stedelijke doelgroep aan te spreken. &#8220;Het ziet er allemaal iets mooier en hipper uit.
