Volgens de respondenten heeft de winkelervaring een veel grotere impact op hun koopgedrag dan sociale media, of het nu Twitter, Facebook of blogs zijn.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Niet alleen inzake het koopgedrag is de winkelervaring nog altijd doorslaggevend, ook in de levensbelangrijke aankoop- en betalingsfase wordt de traditionele winkelervaring nog altijd als belangrijkste gezien: liefst 72% van respondenten vinkt de winkelervaring als &#8216;zeer belangrijk&#8217; of &#8216;belangrijk&#8217; aan (zie grafiek).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De fysieke winkel wordt gevolgd door shoppen via internet (67%). Sociale media, door slechts 37% als &#8216;(uitermate) belangrijk&#8217; gekenmerkt, bevinden zich onderaan in de rangschikking, net boven&#8230; callcenters.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>&#8220;Geen harde verklaring&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;We hebben uit de resultaten van het onderzoek geen hard verklarend antwoord kunnen halen op de vraag waarom sociale media impact verliezen in de retail&#8221;, zegt Kees Jacobs, retailexpert bij Capgemini, aan onze redactie. &#8220;Wel kunnen we op basis van het onderzoek en onze kennis van de markt een aantal aannames doen.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Zo lenen sociale media zich meer voor sociale communicatie met de eigen community vrienden, familie, interest-groups dan voor aankoopgerelateerde interacties met bedrijven. Als men wil shoppen of als men inspiratie zoekt, dan zijn er betere manieren beschikbaar dan via sociale media. Winkels, websites en allerlei mobiele toepassingen bijvoorbeeld.
