Die slechte cijfers komen niet onverwacht, nadat in april een ware cultuuroorlog uitbrak omdat het vlaggenschipmerk Bud Light een samenwerking was aangegaan met transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Conservatieve stemmen riepen op tot een boycot van het merk: daardoor daalden de verkochte volumes in de regio Noord-Amerika met&nbsp;14,1%. Toch lijkt het ergste achter de rug voor de brouwer: het marktaandeel is intussen weer stabiel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Europa is er weinig aan de hand: het bedrijf spreekt van \u201ceen hoge enkelcijferige omzet- en winstgroei\u201d die hoofdzakelijk te danken is aan prijsverhogingen en een focus op premium bieren. Op groepsniveau deed de producent van Budweiser, Stella Artois en Corona het beter dan verwacht. Ondanks een lichte volumedaling van&nbsp;1,4% steeg de omzet met&nbsp;7,2% en het bedrijfsresultaat met&nbsp;5%.
