Bij constante wisselkoersen valt de groei immers terug tot +5,2% en op vergelijkbare basis is er nog maar een groei met +4%.\u00a0Dat mag dan al beter zijn dan de +3,6% waar analisten op rekenden, het is in elk geval bijna een vol procentpunt minder dan de +4,9% uit het laatste kwartaal van 2014.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Die groeivertraging is vooral te merken in het segment van de grootpublieksmerken, met kleppers als L&#8217;Or\u00e9al Paris, Garnier en Maybelline. Door tegenvallende resultaten in de Verenigde Staten en China is de organische groei van die tak teruggevallen tot amper 1,7%. Cosmeticaketen <strong>The Body Shop<\/strong> ziet haar omzet dan weer stijgen van 176,4 naar 192,4 miljoen euro, goed voor een +4% op vergelijkbare basis.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De luxetak, met merken als Lanc\u00f4me, Saint Laurent, Armani en Kiehl&#8217;s, presteert veel beter: een organische groei met 7,5%, meteen ook beter dan de +6% van <strong>LVMH<\/strong>-merken Dior, Guerlain en Givenchy. De divisie &#8216;actieve cosmetica&#8217; (La Roche Posay en Vichy) ziet haar omzet zelfs met 7,6% toenemen en bevestigt daarmee haar reputatie als snelste groeier. Op de professionele markt boekt het concern een omzetgroei met 3,5%.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Regionaal kent vooral de verkoop in West-Europa een &#8220;trage jaarstart&#8221; met een groei van amper 1,3%.
