Dat zou vooral komen door de verkoop van merkartikelen: shoppers zijn loyaler naar merken, ook als ze online kopen. De markt van online boodschappen in het Verenigd Koninkrijk\u00a0groeide het afgelopen jaar al met 21,4%. <\/p>\n<h2>Unilever gelooft er wel in<\/h2>\n<p>Ook het van oorsprong Nederlandse Unilever gelooft in e-commerce. Al flink wat van de merken van de fabrikant worden in het Verenigd Koninkrijk via het internet verkocht en het bedrijf ziet voldoende kansen om dit verder te stimuleren. Andy Houghton, de e-commerce director van Unilever zei tijdens de conferentie:\u00a0&#8220;Consumenten zijn trouwer aan merken als ze online shoppen, wat de merkproducenten de kans geeft om een graantje mee te pikken van de groei van e-commerce.&#8221;\u00a0Het bedrijf signaleert ook dat online kopers <strong>15% loyaler naar merken<\/strong> zijn dan offline kopers, en gemiddeld meer besteden dan in de gewone supermarkt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tijdens de IGD-conferentie van vorige week werd bekendgemaakt dat de omzet van online boodschappen in het Verenigd Koninkrijk in vijf jaar zal kunnen verdubbelen naar meer dan 10 miljard pond (11,5 miljard euro).
