Of het nu via games, TikTok of virtuele realiteit was: zeker de welvarende, Aziatische jongeren waren de nieuwe doelgroep bij uitstek. Nu het financieel moeilijker gaat, zijn die jongeren echter de eersten die moeten besparen en dus wegvallen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Noodgedwongen moeten de merken aansluiting zien te vinden bij hun oudere, klassiekere consumentenbasis. Dat blijkt voor Gucci niet mee te vallen: in het afgelopen eerste kwartaal is de omzet er op vergelijkbare basis met&nbsp;20% gedaald. De hele Kering-groep zag de vergelijkbare omzet met&nbsp;10% terugvallen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In het Verre Oosten kampte Kering met een wisselvallige Chinese yuan en met een assortiment dat niet aansloeg. Gucci heeft <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/nl\/news\/mode\/kering-bijt-door-zure-appel-in-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sinds kort een nieuwe creatief directeur<\/a>, Sabato de Sarno, maar zijn eerste producten liggen pas sinds half februari in de winkels. Die collectie werd wel zeer positief ontvangen en zal in de komende maanden geleidelijk meer beschikbaar worden gemaakt.
