Courir plant 8 nieuwe shops in België

De Franse keten Courir, specialist in sport- en vrijetijdsschoenen, wil nog dit jaar 8 bijkomende vestigingen openen in België.

Expansie

Courir streek twee jaar geleden neer in ons land. Intussen heeft de sneakerketen 11 filialen in onder meer Brussel, Luik en Charleroi. Vorig jaar opende de retaler ook een eerste Vlaamse winkel, in Waasland Shopping Center in Sint-Niklaas. Het bedrijf telt 124 medewerkers in België.

Dit jaar wil Courir opnieuw acht winkels openen in onder meer Antwerpen, Gent en Namen. Dat kondigt de winkelketen aan op LinkedIn. Volgens het Franse bedrijf is de introductie op de Belgische markt erg succesvol verlopen en ziet de toekomst er voor de keten erg goed uit.

Courir is een grote speler op de Franse markt, waar het ongeveer 250 filialen telt. Binnen Europa is de retailer ook nog actief in Luxemburg, Polen, Spanje en Portugal. Ook in de Maghreb, het Midden-Oosten en de Franse overzeese gebieden heeft Courir enkele winkels.
